Rosendo Merel Choy

Rosendo Merel Choy is an artist based in Panama, whose work pulses at the intersection of art, code, and movement. For over a decade, he collaborated with art studios, including the Optical Art Master Carlos Cruz-Diez Articruz,  Felipe Pantone Studio, Ixhshells Studio, and Cisco Merel Studio. creating interactive, immersive, generative art code algorithms in galleries, museum and exhibition spaces around the world.

Rosendo's artistry delves deeply into generative code art, where he crafts dynamic algorithms that play with light, form, and interactivity. His work often explores the rich terrain of optical art and immersive media, recently turning his focus to an exciting blend of movement, code, and optical illusions forms. Each piece challenges the viewer’s perception, inviting them into a world where art is alive, continually evolving and responding.
